This is an area developed with the sole purpose of developing a students zanjutsu skills, it is a large dojo-esque room that houses many dummies and an assortment of weapons in which students can practice with, or outfit their training dummies with.

The dummies themselves come in two different forms, a humanoid appearance for more traditional training, and a traditional hollow form. While they can act as normal dummies, both can be set to attack, defend, or both dependent on the Students skill and needs.


This is an area that fighting for training purposes is acceptable, but kidou usage is frowned upon.

Anira looked at the callouses her hands had formed. They were not soft like some of the other girls. They made it a point to wear protective gloves when holding the sword. Anira however was not the type of girl to trouble herself with such. Anira was by no chance a special girl there were many girls who chose not to wear gloves. In fact it was recommended one did not wear any padding for your palms. The callouses were a testimony of how hard you practiced the blade. Anira's was no where near those of the sword master's. It was fabled that once the grip of a swordmaster clenched around anything, that object would never see freedom unless the master willed it so. Hers however was decent. Perhaps she had an additional 1000 hours of practice than any other regular joe. It was nothing to boast about, those who dreamed to become a master swordsman matched her practice time.

Currently Anira was in practice, not by herself but with an opponent. Her peer was another one who dreamed to be a master swordsman. She had seen him countless times after hours working his way at practice dummies and anyone who was awake. In fact the two of them had sparred several times without sharing names. She felt she knew him well, through the clash of their wooden bokken they opened up a communication. Both of them were sweating having their hands aching from the shocks. They were yet masters let alone adepts. They were simply practitioners of the art and were yet new to reducing the shock of each strike.

What was the score? They knew not, it had been long past since they kept petty scores. Right now they fought for superiority. They were evenly matched they always were. In strength, skill and speed. Yet Anira felt she could get the upper hand on him. If she had a goodnight rest she knew she would be able to best him. They moved making the dojo ground rumble. Thwack and smack, they clashed their swords, gritting at the pain from the challenge.

He had a slim stature, young of age. He had a bad habit of over compensating his strength and cutting down his recovery time. That was Anira's open window to attack but Anira too had a weakness, She lacked the strength to match him and relied on speed and counter attacks. If she blocked she was stunned from it and required time to launch a counter attack. Both knew this and acted on their own strengths. How shitty was their skills. Yet the two desperately tried to refine what they were taught in order to best each other.

Two hands on the hilt legs parted, the strength of the sword came from both hands and their hip. Anira let go of her left hand, holding her bokken in one hand. This caught her opponent off guard, he shifted his stance at the unfamiliar grip. They had been taught never to change grips. Anira had read and seen for herself that some shinigami held their Zanpakuto only in one hand. It was theory but Anira had been secretly practicing. It was strange at first but it slowly came to her. The weight was heavy with a single hand but she soon got somewhat used to it. The key was to win in slashes a perfect way to compliment her counter attack style. If she needed the extra strength she could simply use both hands in the last moment. It was time to try it out.

The two jumped at each other once again. Clashing their wills. The elder boy used a high guard of the hawk, dropping down his blade in unison with his dominant right foot. Blocking this was out of the question, a textbook power strike. Anira made to move forward appearing to accept the attack head on. However in the last moments Anira lowered her stance even as the blow came, placing her bokken just under the wrists of the boy. The boy seized straight away, retracting his arm. They were wooden swords with no edge, but if one was simulating a bladed edge then he would have lost his wrists in that instance. He stepped back having lost his balance, now Anira would have the upper hand till he found time to recover. Anira rushed forward with his retreat, aiming to increase his misplaced footing. A slash on the ankle would make him move back more.

He appeared frustrated at his sudden loss at pace. If he was pushed back any further he would lose his footing and lose the spar. He knew if that happened he would be bettered. He wanted none of that. As a second swing came for his lower leg he moved forward and stepped on the bokken, jamming her sword. Anira didn't hesitate, there would be setback to using a new style, she abandoned her blade and locked her two hands on the sword wrist of the boy, twisting his blade free of his grip and taking for her own. The two of them took distance and smirked at one another. Both were clearly enjoying the spar with a splash of bitter rivalry. Neither wanted to lose and it was clear the loser would chase the shadow of the other.

Both of them were tired and each gave the other time to rest. They were still young and long battles were not yet their forte. Once both had caught their breaths they nodded to one another. Their sweat was yet to cool but their breaths were back. In a silent circle they paced, eying each other for an attack. Anira was a counter type so she would not attack first. He knew of her style as well and would not make the mistake of making a hasty strike so he too would not strike first. As the two of them came to realize their dilemma they laughed. Momentarily dropping their guards. Both nodded again. Anira would attack first and the boy would try to counter.

Anira led the attack, a short stab that transition into a double slash, once down and once back up. The boy hesitated in his movements. They were awkward and sluggish, he was not used to being on the defensive and quickly came to realize his weakness. Anira too found her movements somewhat odd, she was used to single strikes after a counter. Both of them would need to practice their weak sides. Like such the too now took turns practicing at what they were weak at. Anira kept on attacking and the boy practiced how to block and counter. The spar had somewhat been forgotten and the two diligently helped one another to master their new art.

This single handed combat worked for Anira she felt. She could quickly switch her grip as well as her stance. This opened up so many paths for counter attacks as well as surprise strikes from different angles. However she knew she lacked power. In real life she would lack the strength needed for a sure kill. Such she practiced, employing both hands at the last moment to bolster her attack. Her attacks increased in speed before they strike breaking the blocking rhythms of the boy. The strength in her attacks became clearly visible and the boy once again began to lose his balance.

He was sluggish and crude in his defense yet hers was solid. Perhaps if he imitated her and thus he did. Sliding in the same angle but from the opposite direction. Anira's attacks slid off his own blade and he could clearly see the advantage coming back to him. Both of them engaged again and again, trying out new styles and new attacks. They stopped what did not work and bettered what seemed to work. Sweat poured out from both of them in ridiculous amounts, panting to the rasping of their lungs.

Today wouldn't rule out a winner. They were still too evenly matched. Both were panting their stances only half right. They were clearly tired and relied on either their bokken a knee or even a hand. Anira was disappointed in herself. She failed to best him even after changing stances and style. Ha, at least she would be one of the first to get an Asauchi. It had been announced on the notice board. Students who would be getting an Asauchi were to come for the ceremony. Her name had been the only one so far. Strange she had thought. She would have guessed more students were needed before progressing but she guessed they handed them out as soon as they thought one was worthy. For now she would take this small victory of having gotten one before him. She nodded to as did he and both parted.

Anira was clean and dressed in her cleanest uniform. She had gotten a good nights sleep and had her uniform pressed and starched. The red of her uniform was rich as her white was crisp and bleached. Her usually messy hair had been combed out and tied into her half pony. She sat on the balls her feet with her hands rolled into a fist and placed on her knees. In front of her were three of her teachers. One had been her instructor while the other two were elders of Zanjutsu. The ceremony was long and very strict. She had been instructed in the process and followed it the letter.

There had been many warnings of a bladed edge and lectures on what it meant to receive an Asauchi. How she should treat it and how it would form a bond with her. None of it was news to her. She had already researched it long ago. Yet she listened to their wisdom first hand. The three before her were masters and were not to be taken lightly. At the end she was congratulated and given a simple katana of black sheathe and blue wrapped hilt. With two hands she received and head bowed as per custom.

A short display of it was in order and Anira showed off her skills in front her masters. They nodded in approval and Anira was given her leave. In the privacy of her room she studied every part of her blade. It was clean, oiled and flawless. Straight out of the forge. It would still be a blank but the more she trained with it the more it form to be a zanpakuto. Anira smiled alone in her room. Her efforts had paid off.

"ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS OF ANY LEVEL WHO WISH TO LEARN ZANJUTSU. PLEASE COME TO ZANJUTSU COURTYARD 3 IN THE ACADEMY OUTSIDE GROUNDS. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR BOKKEN"

Barik sat cross legged at the head of the courtyard Zanpakutou one side of him and Bokken on the other. Once all the students were gathered he gestured for them to find a spot and sit down.

“Hey all good to see you. If you don't know me I'm Barik.”

Picking up a Zanpakutou he placed it on his lap.

“Zanjutsu a warriors art, but also necessary for all shinigami, even 13th division with their noses in books have a basic to good understanding of Zanjutsu. I'll start by talking about a Zanpakutou first. When you graduate you will gain your Zanpakutou, how is a secret and no one person gets it the same way as the others so asking someone would be pointless because you will probably experience something completely different. Also when you release your Zanpakutou you may find your weapon is not even a sword. Mine isn't but I'll leave that to your imaginations. For this reason every shinigami develops their own style of fighting based on what they have. Here at the academy i will try and ground you in what styles i can so that you have a good start, 11th division is also always open for students to train in with shinigami and if your really unlucky the Taichou.”

Barik grinned and stood carrying his Zanpakutou right to the back of the court yard he lent it against the wall and carried a Bokken back with him.

“For todays lesson we are going to start from scratch. I am sure some of you will have had a scrap or two with a friend and that is good keep at it and never be afraid to mix it up a bit with Kidou or hand to hand if you find you are better at it... Also fighting people who use different styles to you is very beneficial as you can learn how to fight against that sort of opponent.”

Holding the sword out too the side with two fingers so that all could see he began.

“First the important basics. How to hold it right, not holding it right can half how hard and fast you can swing your sword and damage your wrists.”

Gripping it he held his thumb up the edge of the handle so that it was just below the guard and his index finger loose. The other fingers gripped the handle as you might expect. Bringing it around he put his other hand on the bottom, thumb straight up just below the other hand and the fingers the same way. ((This is how i learnt to do it in RL. Depending on what art you have learnt i suppose it could be different.))

Bringing it up over his head he slid his right leg forward quickly his foot not leaving the floor just moving over the top of it. His right leg was now slightly apart from his left so that he had a strong base, legs slightly bent and back foot at ninety degree's. He then brought the Bokken straight downward pulling the base of the handle in to his left side next to his belt. As it moved he slid forward right foot still leading but leaning into the attack and then brought the Bokken up around his body in an arc as he himself turned, twisting around his feet never leaving the floor but skimming just over the top like before. The Bokken was now held once more above his head and in case anyone didn't see it all the first time he repeated.

Lowering the Bokken he slid it into his belt, brought his feet together legs straight and bowed to the students. Relaxing he sat back down facing them and smiled,

“Now over in the corner is a box, in it are weights that you can attach to your Bokken. Do that then repeat what i just did one hundred times... Make sure you do one hundred no less even if all the muscles in your body are burning do one hundred. If you can't don't even consider joining a division that might require you to be adept with a sword until you can. The Taichou's do not allow for weakness nor for weaklings. In 11th i enjoy trainingg with her because she holds nothing back. She is also the oldest and strongest Taichou in the divisions and expects no less than perfection in her shinigami. i have friends in that division and they are so good with thier weapons that half the time they don't even bother with Kidou and rarely bother with Reiatsu. Just pure strength, stamina and technique. Swords are just a weapon you must train your bodies as much as your styles to truly consider mastering them. You may start when you wish”

Barik stood and began to walk amongst the students kicking an odd leg into position or telling them to swing harder.

Takezo watched the training take place sitting from the sidelines, while everyone was out on the main floor practicing he was sitting near a wall, cross-legged, and eating his last saved Apple. Attending the lesson was one thing, actually going through with it was another.

Master Barik was teaching the students the correct way to swing their bokkens, two hands, proper form, etc. In Takezo's own mind, mastery did not come from learning how wield a sword, but knowing the right reasons for its use in the first place.

Obviously, as a shinigami the necessity of using a zanpaktou was duly noted, part of their job was to purify human souls, as well as those of hollows. However, more and more these days that duty had been perverted and changed to suit the individuals greed, even turning their blades on one another when the mood struck them.

If these zanpaktou were truly manifestations of ones inner self, what does that say about a person who is willing to cut a fellow man down with something that is essentially a piece of their soul?

The question would remain unanswered. He needed to know practice now regardless of his personal feelings on the matter. Not being proficient in swordplay as a shinigami invited its own set of problems further down the line.

Picking up a practice bokken from a nearby sword rack, He began his set of one hundred swings.

By the 100th swing, Takezo's arms were burning. He had managed to keep his form proper for the entirety, but even a simple motion could be difficult when repeated so many times.

Replacing his bokken in the sash that crossed his waist, Takezo made his way towards the exit of the room. grabbing a towel from a rack and wiping his face down before making his way out of the door. The class bells were about to ring, and he'd have to do his best to attend both of them this week.

The zanjutsu training area smelled like blood, sweat and tears. While ordered and tidy, there was this odd feeling that things weren't quite right. As Janza walked in, he found the instructor Barik, and leaned against a close wall and listened to him quietly.

Everything about what he was showing theme seemed common, almost average. Obviously students had to start from the beginning, but he didn't like the idea of putting weight on his weapon. When it came to a real fight, the weapon would feel the same. The balance would be off. Now, putting weights on oneself made a little bit more sense, but his place wasn't to completely disregard instructions on his second, almost first, day at the academy.

Janza moved over to the weapon rack and picked a bokken. He put a weight on it quietly, and on either arm for added measure. What was the point of taking this normally? What was the point of taking the easy route. You had to push yourself to improve.

Taking his place near a far corner, Janza set to the training. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. He made it through the first ten without any trouble. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. The next ten weren't that much harder, but a slight perspiration started to bead his brow. 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50. By this point the sweat began to flow in full force. 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75. His forearms started to ache ever so slightly. 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100.

His arms were quite sore by the end, but it wasn't quite enough. After a five minute break, and a bit of water, Janza put his feet back into position. He repeated this two more times. By the time he finished, his arms were screaming in anger at the extended practice. Collapsing against the wall in exhaustion for a few minutes, Janza took a few deep breaths an relaxed, settling his mind as he took off the weights from himself and the weapon.

I should come back here later and see if I can train with the instructor. He replaced the wooden weapon and quietly left the zanjutsu training ground.

It wasn't long after his departure from the Hakudo training grounds that Yomotsu ended up at the Zanjutsu training grounds. It didn't take him but a few moments to grab himself a wooden weapon and situate himself at a training post. He took a moment to compose himself, his right hand still bleeding slightly from his time at the Hakudo Training area. With his stance centered on his right foot, he brought the training weapon down with some force behind it, giving a loud Crack as it hit his target.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

He started his counting, making sure to keep applying the same force each time. Mostly thanks to his rather amazing endurance, he was able to keep at this for quite some time, never faltering, but switching arms every one hundred or so strikes. As he reached his third set, he started to sweat, but still he kept at it, not slowing or changing his pace and force. By his fifth set, he was sweating heavily, and his arms were aching, but still he kept on

97, 98, 99, 100

He reached his sixth set now, and he was feeling the effects of it now more then ever. His arms were shaking slightly, and his brow and hair were lined with sweat, gleaming softly in the afternoon sun. Still he kept on, keeping that same pace, that same force, driving himself further and further.

After his eighth set, he finally stopped and stood there panting heavily. His arms were hanging by his side, too heavy to bring back up at the moment. His grip, however, was still firm and steady on his wooden weapon. After a few minutes of rest, he replaced the weapon from where he got it and sat down in an isolated corner, almost as if waiting for something or someone to show up.

Blood and sweat still assaulted Janza's nose as he walked into the same training area as before. There was no real goal in his mind for coming back other than blowing off some steam and just relaxing. He picked a bokken at random from the rack and moved to the closest target dummy.

Taking a few practice swings, he set into a steady pace for the first few minutes. The first strike was the overhead one that they practiced with the weights on, but it felt off without them. It took another minute to calibrate the swing. One thought stuck out in his mind. Practicing with weights on a sword might have sounded like a good idea to or for most people, but to him, it felt wrong. Maybe he would be a precision fighter, but he put far too much into the swing. Balance seemed all wrong. It felt like he had to start the swing sooner putting a bit more strength into it, with less consistency going through the end. The blade felt too light. A few dozen more swings and it felt a bit natural.

I suppose you could be somebody that masters all weapons, but it just doesn't feel right to me.

Janza fell into a rhythmic motion, striking from the head town, cross body one way and back, into a thrust at the dummy's abdomen. He repeated that pattern a dozen times before adding movements like thrusts and cuts around the legs and hips. Next came the feints, trying for some semblance of subtlety. That was followed by a horizontal slash putting the entire body behind it, ending in a lunge that found the bokken stuck in the neck of the dummy. Poor unfortunate target person.

Each movement was repeated in a mindless way, eventually alternating with moves in different places. Thinking wasn't really a part of this exercise. It might be an instinctual thing, but it was meant to clear the mind. It wasn't even a difficult exercise... at first. Eventually, sweat went from beading his brow, to covering most of his face. The motion suddenly stopped. Maybe it had been enough, he thought idly. Wiping his brow, he glance over his shoulder toward an occupied corner in the training area.

"You look like you are waiting for somebody."

When Yomotsu heard the voice, he glanced up from his place to look at the male. his eyes, a rather dark silver, looked the male over a few times before nodding. He didn't talk just yet, watching the male. He took note of the practice weapon in the males hand, but dismissed it for now. He wasn't all too worried about being attacked. If he was, he would defend himself accordingly, possibly retaliate. But, as he was not being attacked, he didn't move the rest of his body. He did however, glance up at the sun, checking how much time had passed while he had been waiting. When he had first sat down to wait, he dropped himself into a meditative state to calm himself. As he was now out of it, it wouldn't hurt to know how much time had passed.

Mmm. A few hours from the looks of it.. Or even a day. Who knows.

He looks back at the male and tilts his head, as though a gesture for the male to continue if he wanted small talk, or if he was going to ask a question.

He glances from the other male to this one and raises an eyebrow. He waits for a few moments, looking at the both of them before focusing on this new being.

Who is this, and why is he flexing at me?

This was the first thought in his head as he looked the male over. He wasn't exactly sure what to make of him quite yet, but time would tell him soon, he figured. He slowly got up, and crossed his arms, looking at the male. Normally, others would ask 'Can I help you?' or 'Yes?' Instead, he just stood there, waiting for the male to say what he wanted to say, or do what he wanted to do. He did notice the wooden training weapon he was holding, and thus grew wary, ready for any strike while keeping his calm posture.

Could he have been mistaken about the student sitting by his self in the corner?  It almost seemed like it.  Somebody brooding silently in a training area was rather misleading, but to each is own.

Janza didn't immediately address Yomotsu.  Instead, he kept his eyes on the training dummy ahead, with his wooden weapon resting slightly on his shoulder.  What stuck in his mind as particularly troubling was the standoffish air surrounding the other man.  Even with that half glance over his shoulder was enough to show how tense eight words made him.

"Guess I was wrong."  Janza shrugged.  He took aim at the dummy once again.  "I mean, would be nice to spar with somebody."

Stifling silence permeated the room. Janza shrugged it off and almost dance around the dummy, striking at it's side, rotating behind it, and slashed behind himself along the dummy's backside.

Ryu need not no words to explain his actions instead he would just display his actions with his wooden bokken. Which was still on his right shoulder . Ryu immediately closed the distance between Yomostu and him quite easy. His muscular built tower over Inu with ease. In a arc like motion He came down with his bokken quite easily with a single swing his right hand slam down aiming for Inu right shoulder. This arc like slash could be easily counter but at a cause that would either benfit him or hinder him.


Ryu decide a random attack would be a good way to located his target strength. Th is still strike determine the outcome of this potential spar. Ryu smirk a bit even those his chance of hitting him was slim.

When the male before him came at him, Yomotsu stood his ground. He waited till the last second to raise his arm, blocking the bokken with his forearm. When the blow hit his forearm, he made a slight sound from the power behind it, but other then that, he didn't move. When all the power in the strike has dissipated, he lowered his forearm and went over, grabbing two Bokken for himself.

He looked at the two beings in front of him after he turned back around and held the two training weapons before him. With a single word, he ushered them both at him calmly.

"Come."

With that, he readied himself for their attacks, watching them both, as well as using his other senses to gauge what they might do.

It was odd truthfully. The fact that Susano was of House Shisaragi and he wasn't ever attending class. The fact he wasn't kicked out of the academy yet surprised Susano for many reasons. He decided to finally go to his first class today which so happened to be a class which featured his favorite art of practice which is zanjutsu.

Upon entering the grounds he heard the gist of the instructions when he grabbed his bokken and began to swing. With the first stroke he had felt the wood and sweat around his hands as he clinched tighter. Before you had knew it he reached 100 swings and was breathing a little heavier than normal.

"I hope you guys are enjoying this more than I am" said Susano with a smile on his face as he smiled towards his other classmates whom looked like they were engaging in some fun of their own.

Ryu had turn His head to a knowledge  Susano then return his attention back to Yomotsu. Then  performed yet the same strike at the right shoulder blade. Ryu grin a bit he was up to something but what who knows? This time when he strike he place his whole weight into the blade. The force of the strike should cause him to lose his balance. Whether it did or not Ryu would begin a barrage of right shoulder arc slashes aiming for the man right shoulder blade.

Eventually he would stop his barrage of attacks at number six. As he did he smirk a bit he was semi out out of breath but that was all part of his master plan. Indeed Ryu wasn't that stupid truly be wasn't a brute fighter but why was he attacking like this? You may consider that he forgot about other bokken Inu had pick up but in reality he haven't.

That first strike that the male sent at him with all his power, he just battered it aside like he would a small annoyance. He expended the minimalist of energy in doing so, while keeping his stance. He watched the male try to rain down blows on him. Each one he sent off to the side, easily deflecting them all.

This is too easy. He's wasting too much energy while gaining nothing in return.

He frowns slightly at this, though hidden behind his mask. His brows however, did crease slightly because of it, the only signs of any emotion. After the male had stopped, he watched him, his own breathing steady and controlled, unlike the male before him.

"Too much movement. Your not in a show. Control yourself and waste nothing. Then you will be able to strike with power."

Ryu D. Arc was doing well despite his target easy parrys. In fact Ryu had want his target to think he had the upper hand. Now it was time to change the tide wave of this spar. Ryu once again swing his bokken repeating the same action as before but his left hand he pointed a index finger. Yup you guess it static begin to built up at the tip of his left Index finger. Ryu right arm had already finish it attempt to aim for the right shoulder. Now it was the left arm turn Ryu whispe," Hado #4 White lightning."The kido was release and it aim directly at Inu right arm attempting to damage it.



Ryu said,"Keep your comments to yourself."

As usual, Hurs would try out the training dummies in the zanjutsu room, expecting some kind of improvement with the battle experience he now possessed. Even though it was a bar brawl, those were opponents at his level. He pressed the button on the training dummy.

"Alright, you bastard, let's try this again."

Hurs summoned his reiatsu and raised his bokken. It wasn't the perfect grip or stance, but he was aiming to learn to fight hollows before he moved onto other swordsmen. It seemed a bit logical, seeing as how that's what shinigami were meant to fight.

The hollow hopped towards him in its slow-ass method but suddenly sent a swinging cushioned claw in a hook to knock Hurs over. Hurs blocked and absorbed some of the impact, but skidded across the floor from the momentum. Hurs yelled and ran at it for the counter attack. He spun to dodge a claw and then swung straight for the face.  The thing leapt off the floor just to mock the swing and dropped down at the student vertically with a tentacle. The tentacle was meant to wrap around Hurs as the dummy would land behind him. Hurs knocked it away while holding his ground, but it quickly switched course and came around at him from another angle. He changed his footwork a bit and blocked it to be pushed towards the hollow's mouth...

He sighed. Owned again. He sheathed the bokken. It was time to see what the zanjutsu class had to offer if anything at all.

Weights?! Hurs groaned as he put weights on the hilt. He checked his grip and footwork which he had already learned from library books and self-practice and began to swing. On the 80th swing he muttered to himself.

"Bo-ring, Bo-ring, Bo-ring..." with each repetition. When he saw that one of the students shared his sentiments, he finished his last 100 swings out of 500 with perspiration visible on his skin and nodded at the student.

"Grunt work is grunt work I guess," he said.

He winced as the giant aimed a kidou at the sparring partner in the zanjutsu room.

"That might leave a mark. Time to get out of here and slip into reiatsu class."

He said to susanoo. Normally he would stay to chat but he had to organize his time better and now was the time to buckle down.

Instead of parrying the next strike, he dodged it. He didn't so much see the electricity, but more heard and felt it. He wasn't afraid of getting shocked, but he had also heard a whistle off into the distance. That was his que to take his leave. With a single fluid motion, he put his bokken back where he had gotten it and bowed to the male before him.

"I apologize. I am being called away for something. I bid you farewell... And work on your delivery. Save the static charge till its about to hit. Not at the top of your swing."

With those words, he turned around and took off towards the academy courtyard and to where he had heard that distinct whistle sound. He could only guess what was going on that she would summon him away from training. ~Exit~

((Just moved so took a while to post.))

Come? Who talked like that? Or if many people did talk like that here in the academy, why would they talk to him like that? He didn't approach the other student in an aggressive manner. He didn't threaten him. He was even shorter than either of them. If they knew what kind of life he lead, or the fact that he had a memory that was like a moth eaten quilt.

Oh well.

Silence. Everyone was still and silent as ice for a split second before the two opposite of Janza burst into motion. This was by no means a proper spar, not by any stretch of the imagination. Leaping softly out of the way, the wooden blade missed his face by a hairsbreadth giving him the feeling of being kissed by the wind. Blows were exchanged by the other two mixed with an air of something akin to either arrogance or confidence. It was hard to tell honestly.

Janza prepared to set out on the attack, before a burst of lighting flew close to his left shoulder, dangerously close to his heart. Skirting around the blast, he ran low to the ground aiming to push the burst of energy off to the side with a swift knock to the wrist with the hilt of his bokken, but the fight seemed to end as soon as it began.

"Ya know, I would have thought that this was for testing our swordplay, but throwing kidou into the mix? Good to know," Janza said with a slight smile as he walked calmly toward the exit.

The man act as if he was superior then Ryu D.Arc he block just about every strike. Not to mention he some how dodge his Kido then the man had the nerve to give suggestions. Ryu lips curl up he didn't like this man he would be sure to keep a eye on him.

As Ryu prepare to continue to spar the speaker came on talking about go to the court yard. He consider it as Inu walk away he had to grab his new blade as it should be prepared for him now.
