Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Renji_and_Rukia_relax_with_the_other_6th_Division_members

The Division: The Rokubantai looks similar to all other divisions externally. In fact, if one were to differentiate its entryway and courtyard from the other divisions one would have only its simplicity and spartan appearance to remark upon. Every member of the division is required to memorize the layout of the buildings and there exists no map of the 6th division on file anywhere, in a computer or in print. It is widely known how confusing the 6th Division is so the requirement that visitors have an escort is not seen as excessive bureaucracy.

Gates and Reception Area: A singular office and lobby is there for visitors to be escorted into the premises. It holds simple chairs as well as a reception desk that is protected by a reinforced glass window.

Courtyard: The courtyard forms a half circle around the Zen Garden. Once you go through or around the Zen Garden, you will reach the captain's office where grass and dirt becomes a stone floor underneath the jutting balcony. This is where the division will be called to gather for division-wide announcements.

PostSubject: First Recruitment Reception... of Justice!   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyWed Jul 08, 2015 4:06 pm

Jericho-fukutaicho was busy making last minute arrangements at the reception, having an argument with the 3rd seat Igor Travinsky on the the theme of the ceremony, the argument being a tug-of-war between an open house business like theme and a more light-hearted welcoming party. After flash-stepping around trying to fix things correctly, all that remained were a few tables with some forms for registration in the lobby.

Once graduates signed up, they would be given the standard shihakusho uniform and ushered through to the courtyard. Tables of food and drink were there to welcome them. Various shinigami were walking around chatting in low voices, a bit nervous to see what the new graduates and their new peers would be like. Suffice it to say, the shinigami of the 6th were usually of the shy more thoughtful type but they still had their expectations for newcomers in terms of personality and strength.

Chihaya taicho and Jericho fuku-taicho stood behind a table near the captain's office with dormitory assignments and information pamphlets on how things worked around the division. Of course, one could always ask them in person. The captain was an Asian woman of average height and a shaved head with magenta nails and defined eyes with eyeliner, while the lieutenant was a taller Caucasian man with a conservative blonde haircut, smooth face, blue eyes, well-defined, and a muscular build.

The large russian 3rd seat, Igor Travinsky who stood at 6'2 220 lbs and had a near-buzz cut was already helping himself to the food that were prepared for the graduates, already making a good first impression for all to see.

Xavier blended in with the unseated shinigami, with shoulder-length brown hair and a goatee. What made him stand out was his reserved but friendly charisma and extremely short but athletic stature. He was proportionally built like a tall man, but only stood at 5' 1".

After receiving his Zanpaktou Kaya eventually made his way to the 6th division garden looking for the desk where he would sign up.  Kaya's reasoning for joining the 6th division was because most likely it would be the last amount of dumbasses.  If he could avoid shinigami like the ones he had gone to school with his life would certainly a lot easier in this field of work.  If Kaya joined this division maybe things would start looking up for him.  With a relieved smirk on his face Kaya made his way to the desk.

"Yo I'm Kaya Aaliah and I'm looking to join the 6th division today."

After Kaya signed up he was given his uniform and then made his way to where ceremony was taking place. He was a bit shocked by the atmosphere to say the least.

"Man the 6th squad sure knows how to advertise itself...but then again if they couldn't do that much then who the hell would wanna work for em."

As Kaya laughed at his own smart ass comment he noticed a large shiningami running around the area eating most of the food before the new recruit could even see what was being offered. It was a scene similar to a bear raiding a family picnic

"Ugh...my appetite."

IGOR sensed a threat to his social dominance from a seemingly mild mannered guy. He could tell in that man's eyes that he was different than the rest of the new class. He had ambition! And ambition was what made a man become a true beast of a warrior and shinigami. That was something IGOR couldn't afford to have around. He didn't like competitors so it would do him well to keep a close eye on Kaya. He intentionally roamed over to Kaya to start a 'modest introduction' (as they were ordered to give ).

"Yup aaaaah. I know what you're thinking son. Look at all of these passive slobs joining a division that's meant to police Soul Society. And you're right, they have no idea what's gonna hit EM. If you don't have a presence in the Rukongai districts you're nothing but mincemeat. You and I have what they don't... Experience. We know what that place is like don't we? What's your name boy?"

PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptySun Sep 20, 2015 7:16 pm

Hana quietly made her way to the courtyard of the 6th division after she got her Zanpaktou.
She was interested in joining the 6th because she was very passionate about helping others, especially those who couldn't help themselves, and hopefully will learn to be fully independent, instead of seen as the youngest daughter of her noble family.

After signing in and receiving her shihakusho uniform, she passed through the gates. Once through, she observed her surroundings with her hands folded delicately in front of her. The atmosphere was comfortable to her, probably because those that where there were more similar to her compared to her class.

Hana saw a familiar face, and felt a little less nervous after seeing Kaya. As she was heading to get a refreshment, she noticed a very rambunctious shinigami enjoying the food. But, there was someone who captured her attention more than him. The one who caught her attention, was the captain none the less. Her elegant and calm demeanor was contagious, and within a few minutes of observing her captain, Hana was awe-inspired.

The captain was an example of a strong independent woman who Hana was striving to become.

After a couple long seconds in her state of awe, Hana snapped out of it, and politely went up to the captain and vice captain to receive her dorm key.

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyWed Sep 30, 2015 7:25 pm

The captain and lieutenant looked at each other, wondering if it was a good idea to have Igor not on guard duty this day. Their slight worry was interrupted by Hana, an obvious noble of some kind who had just asked for her dorm key.

They were both interested in the newcomer seeing as how she had the smallest aura of a warrior at the open house. She had reiatsu for sure but for her looks they didn't show an etch of killing intent at all which worried the captain although she didn't show it.

She welcomed Hana with a warm smile,

"Good afternoon, we appreciate you considering us."

She didn't hold it against Hana to forget to bow to her seeing as the academy graduates hadn't had the opportunity to have superiors until now and the girl did give off an innocence that suggested she didn't have any kind of rebellious spirit in her. That was something the good captain hoped would change. Even though the whole division was based on sticking with the rules, every seasoned shinigami knew that you had to have spunk and an ego to survive as a shinigami.

"That resplendent set of hair ornaments and that tattoo are of a merchant clan I presume? Or is there a new fashion style in one of the Great Noble Houses?..."

The captain wondered who this girl was. If the 6th received a noble of the Great Houses it would be tremendous due to the political pull that the 6th... one of the main divisions that upheld the law... sorely lacked. If she wasn't a great noble, Chihaya could not deny that she would be a bit less hyped but it would raise more curious questions. Merchant nobles had money but almost never got involved in law or combat, partly because they didn't have the reputation, talent, or reiatsu to do so.

PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyWed Sep 30, 2015 7:58 pm

Hana gasped softly, realizing she forgot her manners in the state of her admiration. She bowed deeply to the captain, and then turned slightly to bow deeply towards the vice captain. "Good morning, Taicho, and Fuku-taicho, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of the 6th squad" she said smiling politely. She could feel the eyes of the captain observing her quietly, but Hana didn't mind, she just stood there respectfully maintaining eye contact with them.

"Yes Taicho, that is correct, I am from a noble family, however not from one of the Great Noble Houses" she said smiling politely still, knowing politics was still very important. "Allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Kiyohara Hana, and I am the youngest of the Kiyohara main family of District One." she said bowing slightly for formality of introductions and a state of being humble and respectful with her family background.

Hana was beginning to feel a little nervous. At the moment, because of the incident, all Hana had going for her was her family name. She had been a late with registration, and so she was behind in her class. However, if her family name was not enough to kick start off her stature, and reputation as a shinigami, she was going to have an even harder time. Though she is looking to be able to make a name for herself, having her family's support, directly and indirectly was helpful in the face of strangers.

The captain nodded thoughtfully.

"Very good. I'm glad to see rukongai citizens from all walks of life try and help protect Soul Society.. As you are clearly doing since that is usually not expected of women in the middle class. Here is your room key..."

The lieutenant handed Hana the dorm key which had on it the room number inscribed in gold font.

"I am one of busiest captains of the Gotei 13, so unfortunately I won't have much time to get to know everyone. Even though there will be a lot of distance between officers and low ranks we do have a bounty system. If you don't have a mission given from direct command or my command you can always go to the communications center and take on a bounty mission. They can be dangerous but it really helps new recruits get an understanding of what we're all about and that's being pro-active and a role model to all other divisions."

The lieutenant kept his arms folded and a poker face on nodding when Hana bowed. It was very hard to tell what he was thinking or what he felt he had perfected the face over his years of playing poker.

"Yes Taicho, thank you." Hana replied respectfully. Once she received her key, she bowed deeply agaon. To say she was a little upset was an understatement, but Hana made sure not to show any of her feelings, which she did successfully due to the way she was raised. Do not speak unless spoken to. she thought softly. It was obvious that the captain was going to completely disregard her because of the lack of the title of a Great Noble. So this is how it's going to be.

Hana knew she had to depend on herself from here on out. She wasn't a noble, she wasn't a warrior, she was only a girl wanting to make a difference, and to do so, she has to take the long path.
Challenge accepted. She thought softly to herself to help encourage her decisions and choices.

"Yes, I understand Taicho, thank you," Hana replied respectfully still, bowing again to the captain, and then once more to her lieutenant.

The lieutenant was hard to read, he had a solid poker face on, but that didn't discourage Hana, hopefully she will be able to become respectable to both her captain and lieutenant, and who knows maybe she will be able to rank within the 6th squad, but she knew that was a more distant goal.

All she was waiting for now was to be dismissed.

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptySat Oct 03, 2015 7:10 pm

Hurs ran to the reception as fast as possible without giving away too much speed. He would be the last one in by a long shot and that was bad because if Kaya and Hana were assigned to some post without him he would have no one trust his maddening stories to. He knew the chances of them believing him were slim, but he had to try. The last few flashbacks were becoming clearer in his memory and their implications weren't good at all. Even though he had been thrown back in time, bad things would already begin to happen that most of the Soul Society's bureaucracy would leave completely uninvestigated until it was too late (or worse they would be involved themselves). Reaching the desk, he pretended to catch his breath like some kind of newbie and held his back. He did a quick sailor salute to the receptionist while hunched over, hobbled over to the sign up sheet, and received his shinigami uniform.

While it was true he was very rusty, the experience from his past life gave him the stamina of a seated officer. Sure he would feel it in the morning, but he knew he had it in him to push himself to those limits if need be. That all meant nothing to him as he knew that he would have to train his butt off for the bigger fish on the menu that would be coming his way.

He stepped into the party and nodded to the welcoming shinigami there and gave an incredulous expression at the sight of the large hefty one near the food tables sticking out like a sore thumb.

He then exchanged empty words and introductions with the captain and lieutenant, whoever these people were. He could already tell they would be a bit difficult in their own way so facades were in order yet again. After that was done he stepped outside of the crowd and looked for Hana and Kaya. Hopefully they would notice him.

PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptySun Oct 04, 2015 6:24 pm

After being dismissed, Hana decided to stick around and try to socialize. Hopefully, she'll see other people that she's already familiar with, etc. A lot of things were currently running through her mind, but she was in need of serious training. Hana knew she had a lot of work cut out for her, but she needed to be fast paced about it. She was hoping to become a seated officer of the 6th squad, but as of right now, that dream was further away than ever. She didnt want to disappoint her family, or herself. Family and honor were two of the things that Hana valued the most, at least at the moment that is.

As she was aimlessly mingling and observing her classmates and current squad members, she noticed a familiar face and smile softly. Hana slowly made her way through the crowd to say hi. "Good afternoon Hurs." she said smiling. "It's been a while since I've seen you" she said smiling softly.

Hurs nodded, which was the closest thing to the western form of a bow to Hana. He knew what the formalities were, but he had regained his old personality trait of not caring about unnecessary tradition from his previous life, gaining a more intentional care-free and wild approach to his ways.

"Afternoon..." he said with a confident smile.

"I'm busy being a bit intimidated by everyone else here, but at the same time I feel pretty lucky getting this far considering that we're the some of the first of the official Gotei 13 division classes you know? That makes us the second generation to ever use zanpaktous, I mean I think there were only three classes ahead of us which spanned about a few years and the first being the testing of the captains. It's pretty exciting but it just makes me want to train and really live up to everyone's expectations you know?"

Hurs wanted to get Hana into an inspired, positive mood so that he could find an opening to tell her his truth. The same went for Kaya, but he'd probably have to take a different approach.

PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyMon Oct 05, 2015 8:50 pm

Hana didn't mind his nontraditional behaviors, she knew that many of those in Soul Society had past lives which had different customs, where as she did not. What caused Hana to raise her eyebrow, was his response after her greeting to him. Back at the training session, he wasn't as... socially awkward? And before, he didn't give a care for others around him, but now he was all concerned and "intimidated." She figured something was up.

"Interesting information, now what do you really need to tell me?" Hana asked crossing her arms, and poking one hip out with an inquisitive question. The girl wasn't the most street smart kid out there, but she wasn't stupid. She has been observing others her entire life, she knew there was more than what was actually being said and portrayed by Hurs.

"We can head up to the dormitories if you would prefer to tell me in a more private area" she said gently.

Hana was clearly onto him after only a few seconds of chatter. This gave him a sense of relief. She was one of the odd ones out due to her background and she probably wasn't a prodigy because she would have been heavily recommended into an officer's position. He was also a bit relieved that the 8th division didn't nudge her away from the 6th for being a bit different. He needed people he could trust above all else, brute strength or god-like intelligence were dangerous things that could quickly cut both friends and foe.

"Yah... let's 'check out those dorms' shall we?"

Hurs would walk towards the dormitory area with Hana and pretend as if he was just having a friendly chat by keeping his face as a light-hearded kabuki mask of a lie, really flowing into the look of a superficial newcomer that was making small talk about nothing.

"Have you been noticing anything strange with Soul Society in your time here?"

This question would come off as a bit odd as Hurs seemed to be the type that already had a lengthy past in Rukongai. Sure there was what happened in the training exercise, but this addressed everything in their lives.

PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyMon Oct 05, 2015 9:28 pm

Hana was confused with his behaviors, but followed him with a polite smile on her face to mimic what he was trying to do on the way to their dorms. To be honest, this kinda freaked and annoyed Hana slightly. She was use to mock-politeness and kindness, but when Hurs did it, he stuck out like a sore thumb. Like someone who was laughing at something that was intended to be humorous, but in fact was not.

Once they were behind doors of her dorm, Hurs asked her a question that gave her a hint about what he really wanted to talk about. "I mean, recently it was just the freak accident during the mission, but from what I can recall, nothing really." She said sighing softly, rubbing her temple softly. The big ordeal with the training session was just a big headache for Hana. Especially since she had to remember D'Arc. She sighed softly.

"I was raised within the confines of my household, but occasionally, I would sneak out to visit one of the shrines we owned, however there were days where I was warned by the keeper, and my parents to stay inside." she explained softly. "I found it intriguing, but I figured it was just crime that was not being overseen by the shinigami, so I didn't question it. Why? What's going on?" she asked, a tint of worry covering her voice.

From the small handfuls Hana has seen Hurs, she has never seen him this... serious? During the training, it was fight or flight, and he chose to fly far away, but now... there was something different about him, and his demeanor. He doesn't seem as... random... as he was before.

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyMon Oct 05, 2015 9:46 pm

When they reached the two-floor dormitory facility, it was relatively empty. Hurs stopped his charade and leaned on the wall with one hand and his hand on his hip. He adjusted his zanpaktou a bit and then stood back up to take out his pipe.

"I'm just trying not to scare you off, but now I'm pretty you're different enough from the rest of the 'nobles'. Please don't take offense to what I'm about to say. But this is the problem here with nobles and the fact that shinigami are made up mostly of them. I don't know if it's the inbreeding or life-on-a-silver-platter false tunnel-visioned confident BS that they're raised on, but they will not listen to a shred of differing opinion or ideas if it does not fit within their box of what they deem to be reasonable and worth their time. You and this guy Kaya may be the only people that will listen, let alone not arrest me and drag me off to a cell for madness and treason."

He put some leaf into the pipe, struck a match, and puffed as he began.

"Throughout history, there are things called 'Golden Ages', where a few very smart people make tons of discoveries and good ideas in a small period of time. One such era is one on the human world that hasn't even happened yet and that you probably don't know of named the Golden Age of Greece. That span of time lasted 50 years. In that time, they were able to create great cities that put all others to shame and reached levels of technology and understanding that outdo some of Rukongai itself, which is currently around the level of Ancient Egypt, which I believe is old enough of an era for you to learn about in school."

He continued to puff as the autumn wind began to blow from the north. The pleasant season was almost upon them, but it brought tidings of responsibility and an urgency to get back into the business of things.

"But this... new Soul Society that just came about has things that I'm sure your parents and all of their peers and relatives and relations in general have never even dreamed of. Advanced medicine, computers, kidou, zanpaktous, different divisions with separate functions and a huge infrastructure. All built within months and completely ready to function within 3-4 years! Now I'm not saying that it's not possible, but to be able to plan all of that with no steady advancement of the sciences or magicks or military tactics in your history to back it up sounds fishy as hell.

You're a merchant correct? Have you and your parents ever sold or bought things even a third as complicated as some of the things you read about in the academy?"

Hurs raised an eyebrow and gave an inquisitive look, hoping he had added enough information to make the gears in Hana's head begin to turn and remember or think of more without her looking at him like he had grown three hollow-masked heads and a plastic tail.

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyMon Oct 05, 2015 10:38 pm

Hana closed her eyes and leaned against the opposite wall as Hurs. As she had her eyes closed and was fairly relaxed from being away from the eyes of the public, she listened closely to what he had to say. This "Golden Age of Greece" intrigued her greatly, but she did not know a single thing of what he was saying.

"I'm not like some of the other nobles, or citizens of Soul Society. I do not have a past life, I was born here. So, I am not aware of this so called Greece. However, I am not ignorant like others within my social class. I understand that there are different cultures, and different eras where a lot of people, if not everyone originated from before coming to Soul Society." She explained softly.

"Growing up, I never went to normal school. I was, for the lack of the better term, house trained to be the perfect respectable wife, seeing as how I am the youngest daughter and child in the main branch of my family. I was never taught the workings of politics, i never had a say of my own, until now. No doubt I was dearly loved by my family and house, however, I was the delicate little water lily that was encased. You could say, I was more of a face for my family." she said almost bitterly, but then sighed and whatever negative feelings or rude thoughts she was thinking of nearly vanished.

"However, now that you've mentioned it. I am aware of the recent history of Soul Society, and the fact that it's only being spread through out the inner circles. There are no physical conflicts with nobles, and no sudden advanced findings and schooling. Which is fairly odd, seeing as how you need one, or both of those factors to have credential of being a great society. However, everything is just positively symbiotic." she began to think out loud.

"Yes, I am from a merchant family, but again, I was raised to be a lady, not head of the house or our business. I was not allowed to learn about our family's business affairs or politics, just whether or not we were in a good position or not." she said focusing her eyes on Hurs.

"But, I never said I wasn't curious." she said smirking softly. "We were doing business with people I have never seen before, or where even familiar with their works. I had to know who was who within the nobles, politicians and businessmen so I would be aware of what they were each capable with, etc." she thought softly. "But anyways, I was eavesdropping on one of my father's meetings with these people I have never seen or heard of before. I was able to listen and watch the meeting up until my father and his affiliates were about to showcase something that was deemed grand, but before I could even see or hear what it was, I was taken by my eldest sister away from the meeting silently. She told me she wouldnt tell my parents, but I must forget everything I heard and saw that night." Hana said finishing her explanation.

She hope she made sense and her thoughts were clearly portrayed. When she thought out loud, it tended to be a bit scattered and jumbled.

"Mhm"

He said listening to the lady's story. It was good she wasn't invested in politics or schemes yet or he probably would have stopped the conversation awhile ago.

"I'm not saying that you or anyone else is left in the dark, at least, obscurity is not responsible for some of the strange things I've been noticing around here. What I'm saying is that a lot of things here don't belong here at all."

Hurs rolled his eyes, wincing at how angsty he was sounding and decided to quickly explain before hana thought he was some sort of nutty idealist who wanted to rebel against the system (like that had never been tried before).

"I mean this in a physical way. Take the 12th division scientist for instance. There should be no research institute in this time period yet. The 12th is supposed to be a special wartime division that focuses on defense. And yet here we have what happened to that other girl, a mod soul created in the spanse of seconds. That isn't even possible from where I came from."

Hurs flash stepped onto the first floor balcony of the dormitory.

"See? Before today I couldn't even do this but now I remember training it every day when I was a fifth seat officer. I'm from the future and so are some of my peers and so is that 12th creep...."

He said this while leaning on the balcony and looking down on her with a calm but assertive timbre in his voice

Hana stood up straight after she saw him flash step. "When did you learn that?" she said with wide eyes. Hana knew she was behind on training, like really behind, but she didn't realize how far she was after watching Hurs.

Despair slowly started to seep into her chest, and she started to feel incapable, and a disappointment to herself and to her family, but she made sure not to show it on her face. "I get what you mean with the whole weird technology stuff, but what do is the point? So what?" she asked softly. "I'm not trying to say that to be rude, but I need to know the point of why you are telling me this, and making me inquire about certain things."

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptySat Oct 10, 2015 10:56 pm

Hurs realized the girl was beginning to feel as if she was being left out and belittled by all of this. He came off as the slightly above average one of the class and here he was flash stepping. Before his voice got too shaky he explained. He laughed and shook his head at how coy and vague he was starting to become by asking all these questions and treating her like an ignorant child.

"Don't worry I was a captain and some of my abilities returned with my memory. Why am I telling you all of this well it's because you're you. You're more unique than you may realize. You're weak but you can survive, you're a noble but you're not corrupt or at such a high level of status you're thick headed, and you have potential but no one that bothered to foster it and blow up your head with pride and delusions of grandeur. People like you are just what I need if I'm to clean up the mess that's about to happen here. I need a task force of people that can take care of themselves but can stay under the radar and make observations. Are you up to the task?"

There was no guarantee that Hana would accept the offer but that was the risk he'd have to take. He decided to sweeten the deal.

"If you agree you will have my tutelage, and a cut from the bounty money receive and loot I find (trust me there can be a lot when dealing with criminals) and I'll have your back if things get too hairy."

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptySun Oct 11, 2015 12:16 am

Hana was skeptical, but she wasn't stupid. What he said did cause questions to arise, However, she didnt know much about Hurs to begin with. "Wait... Captain?" she asked raising a brow. "If you were a captain, why would they erase your memories?" She asked softly. There were so many questions that needed to be answered, but the whole story wasn't unfolding in front of her. "i can understand that you lost your memories, but I don't know what the circumstances are" she said.

When he was explaining why he needed her on his team, she felt a little proud, and a little bit belittled. She scoffed softly at his bribe. "I don't need money..." she said softly. "Money, doesnt define you. Yes, it has it's perks and you can go the easy way, But I came into this to get away from that. I don't want to be someone's measly wife all day with their children. But, she can;t help raise the children because the husband pays for people to do it for her." she said narrowing her eyes softly.

"I'm happy at where my family stands on the social pyramid, I hate snobby nobles like that one kid on that mock mission. I don't need that in my life." she said sternly to make sure that her point was made clear. But then she thought about it softly and sighed.

"I need someone to teach me.... someone who can help me get better" she said while staring out of her window. "I will help you." she said looking at him with a calm expression. "However, I do not believe you 100%, but I am giving you the benefit of the doubt. I would rather help you, come to find it was a fib than to not help you and it was all true." she said rationalizing out loud to him and to herself.

Hana didn't know what was going to happen in the future, she doesnt know what's at stake, but she knew that if she was going down, she wasnt going down alone, and without a fight.

Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad)   Rokubantai Gates and Courtyard (6th Squad) EmptyMon Oct 12, 2015 10:29 pm

"Some things I don't know... And some things I can't tell you."

Hurs scratched his head.

"I was the captain of this squad so that's probably why my memory less soul gravitated towards it. Since this is the early 6th squad, I'd recommend for you to trust no one and tell them nothing about our conversation. If there's anything strange going on you should make a note about it and report back to me before anyone else even the current captain."

Hurs nodded in agreement to her desire for improvement.

"In order to assist me you will have to learn how to survive and fight. Survival should be emphasized because until you awaken your Zanpaktou you will basically be one of the waves of fodder that Soul Society will throw at threats deemed unworthy for officer attention and those threats are usually naturally stronger than the individual soul reaper. Luckily, you joined this squad which isn't as invested in hollow purification as the war divisions. This will help boost your confidence but sooner or later you'll have to take on the big fish. Yes, this means you will need all of the free time you can earn for improving yourself for that inevitable moment. I will teach you to the best of my ability. Let's head to the training area and get this dance going while the going's good."

Hurs opened the door and motioned for Hana to leave before she was able to get acquainted with her own room and then walk a brisk pace with her to the training room.

Hana sighed softly again. "Fair enough." she said glancing at him.

Again, whatever Hurs said made sense, but she was still skeptical, but could you blame her? "Alright." she said somewhat stubbornly. Well he sure does give orders like a captain. Hana thought while mentally rolling her eyes.

"Killing two birds with one stone here. That's sensible." she said smirking softly. She rolled her eyes for real this time. He just had to remind her of her conversation with the captain and the lieutenant just a couple of hours prior to their current conversation. As Hurs opened to door for her, she said her thanks before heading to the training room with him.

Kaya noticed the socially overbearing presence slowly making its way towards him.
"Oooh boy" Kaya thought to himself. In Kaya's experience those big loud muscular types always meshed terribly with him, his latest experience was with that crazy student known as Ryu D Arc. He was big loud and above all else stupid.

After the man introduced himself as Igor Kaya scratched his head and introduced himself forcing himself to smile.

"Uhhhh my name's Kaya Aaliah sir. And Experience? Me? Naaah I just ran around a bit and kept myself from dying sir."

Thought Kaya was mostly just saying this to get the random shinigami off of his back it wasnt too far from the truth. Though he survived he felt that he mostly rode on his luck rather than any actual skill.

"Heh. The humble type."

Igor straightened his posture.

"You should come to my dojo in Rukongai. We have classes at 7pm every weekend day heheh."

Even if kaya walked away, Igor would remind him of the address and to think it over if he wants to learn how to 'survive in this country'.
