On this sitemost of the topics that a user will post in will be created by the Mods as seen fit. There are only a few areas on the site where people can post their own private or solo threads.
This rule mostly pertains to the areas such as the Academy and Divisions. The only people who can post threads in those respective areas are the mods or the divisions captain.
For areas such as the Rukongai, edge, human world, and hueco mundo. Users are free to post a private/solo/group thread and expand upon the area and the situation their character is in. The layout for these areas are a guide for what it should look like, not a concrete example. That being said, don't put Disneyland in the heart of Hueco Mundo unless its explained with rational thought. If there is a question on legitimacy for whatever reason, just pm a mod.
Secondly, users may only post in one thread at a time. For example.
User A creates thread for training.
User B creates a open thread, asks user A to join.
user A now has to make a choice, either continue training in his own thread , or close thread and move to user B's thread.
Not only does this make the timeline for this RP much more stable, it helps the mods understand whats going on for each member, where people are, and so on and so forth.
This brings up activity, what happens if someone dosn't post?
basic rule of thumb is to wait three days for the person you are rping with to post. Life can get in the way, and this is meant to be recreational, not an obligation. Some of our members will have jobs and families, and posting more than two or three times a day may be out of the question.
That being said, find people who can fit your activity level and post with them, or ask others to join in. There is no rule about taking turns to post. in short, dont be afraid of asking to join in, or inviting others to participate in threads.
LASTLY, and this is a character creation issue, you are free to create whatever character you want as long as you try to keep it somewhat original. However, be careful about making a character that is will have trouble playing with others. Its one thing to be confrontational, mean, or an asshole, its another to have a personality that is unapproachable or makes people act ooc to be around you.
an example,
Player A makes introduction
Player B insults A, then walks away.
what would a normal person do? why in gods name would someone follow after you?
If your character would follow up. Go for it, but for you player B types out there, just think about it.
